Aliens & UFOs. Genetic modification. Secret societies. Depopulation. Globalist agendas. Dimensional gateways… What do these things have in common? They are all topics that you would almost certainly never hear about in church on a Sunday morning! Quite the contrary; in most Christian circles if you were to ask or talk about any of these subjects you’d likely be thought of as a tinfoil hat wearing crackpot fit to be locked up in the looney bin. But why is that? Why is it that Christians are so afraid to talk about topics that are considered controversial, fringe, or cutting edge?
We live in a world of knowledge, information, and technology that is exploding at an exponential rate. Advances are being made on a daily basis in just about every field of study that push the limits of previously established boundaries. Things that were once considered fiction and fantasy are quickly becoming reality. We hold electronic devices in our hands more powerful than the computers used to put a man on the moon. We can communicate via video chat with others on the opposite side of the planet in real time. We can find our location anywhere on Earth at the push of a button on our GPS device, just to name a few. And it was only just a few decades ago that things like this existed solely in works of science fiction.
So, what makes Christians so fearful of subjects that may seem a little extreme or unbelievable? Honestly, I don’t know the answer to this question and I suspect many reasons could be given. Yet in my opinion, if there was any group of people who should be at the cutting edge of radical topics, it’s Christians. Those who take the Bible seriously by nature claim to believe things that most people consider to be amazing, remarkable, and miraculous: human beings being created from dust, a nation of people walking through the middle of the sea, a woman turning into a pilar of salt, a man being swallowed by a fish and then spit out alive three days later, water being turned into wine, sight given to the blind, and dead people coming back to life. The list goes on and on!
It’s with this in mind that this blog has been created. If Christians can study and discuss topics like these in the Scriptures, we can do the same with current topics that are equally incredible and amazing. My intent is to create a space where learning can take place, thoughts can be shared, ideas can be exchanged, and questions can be asked without fear of judgment about topics that are usually considered too extreme in most churches, organizations and Christian contexts. Yet all subjects presented will be considered through a distinctively Biblical and Christian worldview.
If this is something that piques your interest then welcome and get ready… This is Cutting Edge Christianity!
